PAYROLL TAX DEFERRAL 9-8-2020 SIGN OFF
PAYROLL TAX DEFERRAL 9-8-2020
To All Employees:
On August 8th, 2020 the President Donald Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum for a payroll tax deferral effective September 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The payroll vendor for NCO, Inc. will not withhold the Social Security tax from employee’s checks unless they are otherwise instructed by the employees. Please understand that this is a tax deferral. All taxes not paid between September 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020 will start being withheld on January 1, 2021 and must be repaid by April 30, 2021 to avoid penalties and interest. If you wish to proceed with the tax deferral no action is needed. If you wish to have the Social Security tax withheld as normal please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org . I will also need the attached memo signed and returned to me at the administrative office 710 S. St Louis Batesville, AR 72501.
Employee Memo 9/16/19
In a review of our agency’s Paid Time Off policy, it was discovered that 24 hrs. of bereavement time has been incorrectly calculated annually into staff accrual rates. This has been corrected as of 9/1/19. The new accrual rates will be posted on our website, networkofcommunityoptions.org . Because NCO, Inc. is experiencing a significant budget reductions, while continuing our agency’s effort to provide the highest quality of service to our clients. It has been determined effective 10/1/2019 that NCO, Inc. will have the 10 paid holidays as listed below:
- New Year’s Day (January 1st)
- Good Friday (Friday before Easter)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Labor Day (First Monday in September)
- Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve (December 24th)
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
- New Year’s Eve (December 31st)
